About my family
I grew up in a family of four, my younger brother, my father, and above all, my mother, a woman of quiet strength, independence, and profound compassion. She has always championed the women around her, offering support, guidance, and solidarity in ways I only came to appreciate as I grew older. Watching her balance empathy with resilience has shown me what it truly means to live with purpose.

Her influence is the reason I care so deeply about women’s voices, especially those too often silenced. Through my art, my lens, and the roles I inhabit—including that of a young tea picker in Cicada’s Clothes, a feature film I devoted five years to—I strive to carry her spirit forward: to see with clarity, to feel with empathy, and to speak with purpose.
